Saturday, December 21, 2019 - Decanted 5 hours and I think it might have benefitted from more. Terrific nose and great color. Nose has black cherry, rose, tar, and really rips from the glass. Really nice, lots of fruit and long long finish. Had a bit of barn funk, maybe bret that I was bothered by initially, but it largely blew off. Really terrific once that passed. I bet would be better tomorrow if we didn’t kill the bottle... Still fairly tannic and I think improves in time.
