Friday, April 13, 2018 - Coche and Rousseau Dinner (RPM Steak - Chicago, IL): Tasted in a 89/93/01 flight. Aromatically this is generous, if a bit less refined than the spellbinding '89 nose. Aromas of big rich meaty black cherry with some toast influence. On the palate this has great richness and power with crazy amounts of intense meaty spice. The fruit is at once sweet and ripe, and savory and earthy. Elegant, precise finish.
