Friday, December 27, 2019 - Though it paled in comparison to the hallowed company alongside it ('96 CdC Rose and Selosse), this was still enjoyable. On other nights, when it is the sole champagne on the table, it has blown me away. Yeasty but citrusy, fresh and buoyant with lots of stuffing, it is clearly young and in need of time. A lot of upside to this. I'd give it some air and let it warm up a bit to really appreciate it now.
