Saturday, February 15, 2014 - Justin makes a lot of great wines this Cabernet Sauvignon is not one of their best. It lacks depth although nice flavours of black fruit and slight earthy spice. There have been better years for this wine check out the 2010.
Paso Robles is not Napa or Sonoma where my favorite Cabernet Sauvignons come from so I try to not bench mark this wine against either of those places. Justin makes a wonderful Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, named Isoscles which is over double the price of this Cabernet Sauvignon and worth every penny.
Ready to drink now.
