Dark ruby fruit - dark cherry, currants/cassis, and a little blackberry. Smooth mid-palate with a nice purity but a lighter profile than expected - medium body. Nice rich flavors of dark berries, some spice, and a little cocoa. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. Popped/poured but drank out of a decanter for a couple hours. Not much improvement with time but drinking pretty well right away. Like the 2011 Myriad Dr Crane cab, one of the better 2011 cabs that I’ve had but probably my least favorite vintage of this wine that I’ve had. 92/93 for me at this stage. 100% cab.
