Sunday, January 22, 2023 - Opened a few hours early and not decanted until right before serving. The nose took a bit of coaxing but soon shows a lovely complexity of dark fruit, soil, and musk tones. It's a very pretty nose, and also quite focused and pungent. The palate did not show the elevated degree of articulation and detail that the nose suggests. It's very nice, balanced and delicious. But a bit jumbled, especially next to the 96 Hudelot-Noellat served alongside.
