Sunday, September 24, 2023 - This is good, especially after a three hour decant. Quite a fun nose, with the usual blackcurrant joined by some sweet candied cherry and vanilla. Full-bodied with a few tannins which need another couple of years to fully resolve, but plenty of ripe cassis flavours and a staisfyingly long finish. It does lack a little class but at the price paid, no complaints.
