Monday, February 6, 2023 - (Dreyfus Ashby & Co. import; purhased on release); fresh and young; bright, deep garnet red in color; earthy beetroot and cranberry on the nose; piquant, chalky red fruit on the palate; the finish has minerals, spice and black cherry; the longer it sat in the glass, the more emotionally involving it became (it kept drawing me back and improved each time I tasted it); this is delicious, but I need to keep my hands off; it has gobs of potential. Even better on night #2. In five years, this will be a 'wow' wine.
