Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - Tuesday at the Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): Just about in neck level. Solid Cork. Decanted for 1.5 hours and definitely helped. A lot of fine sediment s be aware of disturbing it.
Colour shows its age with bricking n the rim and a brownish tint across. The nose is textbook yet again, elegant and mild with light earth, mineral and light sweet dark fruit notes. On the palate it is still firm yet the tannins are integrated with a silky edge to them. It exhibited a lot more fruit this time round vs a year or so ago when we tried it last . A solid showing. 93 drink from now but has the stuffing to go another 10yrs easily.
