Saturday, April 7, 2007 - Red fruit with dark tea and assorted earth-driven notes. Initially high-toned and feminine, but develops a deeper coffee undercurrent with time. Still quite compacted - very fine tannins but wonderful balance, focus, and purity throughout. Gains weight with time, but maintains a delicate and nuanced profile. Sappy and textured. Still very, very young, but quite delicious now and wonderful promise...unfortunately, I'll probably never see another bottle.
