Friday, May 2, 2014 - Peach and citrus on the nose with a sense of dusty sweetness. Palate is demi-sec and straightforward with light minerality. This is a simpler Spatlese than I expected but well crafted. Perhaps it can use more time?

5/12/2014 4:18:00 PM - I found this wine to be very complex - but also very structured and stuffed full of extract. It's very possible it is shutting down, as Schaefer's wines often do.
