Sunday, May 14, 2023 - An interesting one, this... it's mostly faded, leaving not a great deal except acidity, but given that it didn't feel at all tired, just somewhat... thin. Those flavours and aromas that remain were predictably evolved: sundried tomato, ketchup, leather, blackcurrant jam, damp earth. Went well with food, given the acidity, but a bit too mature to fall in love with otherwise. Definitely not a wine to serve to beginners!
