Thursday, April 24, 2014 - Decanted and poured, this wine gave a very good showing. The aromatics are dominated by tart lemon notes with some underlying floral and mineral elements. The bouquet seems straight-forward and simple. The color is a vibrant light yellow. The medium bodied palate shows citrus fruit and brisk acidity with a medium length finish. The wine drinks well, but seems to lack the components to give a more compelling showing. On this occasion the wine seemed focused and precise but lacking complexity and nuance. This drinks well now and may benefit from an additional year of bottle age.
