Back on form after that last flawed bottle. Medium yellow with a touch of gold. Slightly reduced. Lemon peel and earth. Needs a decant and should be drunk at cool cellar temperature. Good to drink now and reason to wait longer.

Gold color. Earth, stone, apple - slightly more evolved than last bottle, but not sure if that is the bottle or a trend. Very good, but based on this bottle it is time to drink.

Earth, citrus, stone fruit. Very dense. Faint oily petroleum notes. This is a particularly good vintage of Dauvissat’s Petit Chablis. Lovely now and I expect this will cruise along at this high level for several years.

Great quality Petit Chablis. Dense, powerful flavors of citrus, stone and earth. Doesn’t have the finesse of regular Chablis but has that unique Chablis flavor that is hard to describe. Very good.

This bottle gave a similar showing to last experience with this wine. This wine has given a very good to almost excellent showing on a number of occasions and is most likely at or around its peak.

Opened and poured, this wine gave a very good to excellent showing. This wine has begun to develop some mature elements that gives this bottle some additional nuance. The bouquet offers citrus, floral and chalk notes. The color remains a youthful light yellow. The light / medium bodied palate has developed a fine grained chalk texture that give the wine complexity. It gives a medium length finish with some acidity to keep the wine focused. This bottle gives the impression that this wine is at or around its peak.

Another very good to excellent showing for this wine. This wine has evolved nicely since its release and this bottles suggests that it should continue to drink well for at least the next few years.

Opened and poured, this wine gave a very good to almost excellent showing. On this occasion the wine gives additional detail on the bouquet with more mineral and oyster shell notes then previous experiences with this wine. Based on this bottle, the wine has benefited from an additional year of bottle age. This wine is probably at or around its peak but leaves the impression that is will continue to drink well for at least the next few years.

If this is any indication of what the Premier and Grand Cru wines have to offer, watch out! Light sea shore nose, palate shows some nice fruit, plenty of lemon-lime acidity, crisp and fresh, with some good minerality kicking in on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Decanted and poured, this wine gave a very good showing. The aromatics are dominated by tart lemon notes with some underlying floral and mineral elements. The bouquet seems straight-forward and simple. The color is a vibrant light yellow. The medium bodied palate shows citrus fruit and brisk acidity with a medium length finish. The wine drinks well, but seems to lack the components to give a more compelling showing. On this occasion the wine seemed focused and precise but lacking complexity and nuance. This drinks well now and may benefit from an additional year of bottle age.

Super reductive, funky and ultimately not worth drinking even with decanting and leaving overnight. Let’s see what happens with the last bottle.

Clean, bright, nuanced touch of hazelnut and spice comes through.

Still drinking very well. Good citrus cut, with some rich earth notes underneath. Ripe, but not remotely fat. Great stuff and time ahead.
