Tuesday, April 28, 2015 - Beautiful color of wheat as it passes from pale green to light yellow several weeks before harvest. Fine persistent beads are mesmerizing. Aromatic profile is bread and yeast and bread and yeast and bread and yeast. Then some toast and toasted nuts. Incredibly, a very faint aroma of blueberry/blueberry pie appears as a secondary layer. Mouthfeel is very rich and smooth, almost creamy. Finish is long, smooth, if not a bit narrow. Definitely makes you reach for another pour.
