Monday, June 25, 2012 - The wine showed brick red on the edges, beautifully aged wine. Notes of black currant, blackberry, plum, mint and cedar.Tannins were sweet and almost completely resolved and very little oak presented. Medium-bodied with low acidity. This wine completely blew away the La Conseillante 1995 I had yesterday. This is exactly what I would expect from a great Pomerol, soft, elegant, balance, and fruity. The wine is in top drinking form now and should last for a while. First bottle of two cases I bought during EP. I am really going to enjoy this wine for years to come. Wow! I love Pomerols! 95 Pts.
