Wednesday, September 23, 2015 - Classic nose with notes of dark earth, celery root, dark berries, hints of cedar and light mildew. While this performed slightly better on the palate than other recent bottles, I still found this to be thin and somewhat short on the finish. Dry earth and faint dark fruit on the front palate but this fades across the midpalate. Tannins are still quite noticeable but supple and provide good textural contrast. Decanted 45 minutes. 91+
