Friday, February 6, 2009 - Starts out still quite tannic without much sign of age in the fruit department. It continues to perform like a young wine for the rest of the night, but the structure relaxes and streamlines itself into a thing of grand cru Burgundian elegance; the tannins so pampering in their cashmere touch that you almost don't want them to age away. Rewarding to drink now for that reason, but otherwise still in need of long-term cellaring.
