Saturday, December 21, 2013 - Spicy - maybe a little whole cluster? Super floral and savory at the same time. Surprising weight, but I suspect baby fat and that this will tauten (is that a word?) up over time. Too early for this wine, needs some time to really refine itself and show its elegance. That said, I don't find this wine (or the pinots in general) as compelling as other offerings from Pax. Thoroughly enjoyable, but it doesn't snap my head around... Glad I have a couple, though.
