Sunday, April 9, 2023 - Tasted against the 2000 Tablas Creek Espirit de Beaucastle on Easter at a our family’s Easter barbecue. Mont Redon was a a bit tired as others noted and the Tablas, as expected, while faded had more intensity and bolder fruit. Still Mont Redon had more underlying complexity and greater refinement. I like older wines even when faded over fermented grape juice.
