Tuesday, March 31, 2020 - Medium body. Medium plus acidity. Nicely rounded tannins, but still firm. Medium plus finish. Popped and poured, and re-poured. Opening slowly now. I get red fruits, fresh leather and peppercorn. Still quite fruity on the palate, but black cherry and blackberry, despite the red fruit aromas. The tannins and acidity are well balanced, but the fruit is waning.
