This was probably the best showing as the wine had softened just enough and was more approachable. Served at a nice cellar temperature and enjoyed along side simple things from the grill. Black cherry, mild smoky notes, balanced mouthfeel and alc % in check. Drinking nicely now, think it's likely at peak.
