Saturday, December 19, 2020 - A brilliant example of a brilliant vintage. Decanted for 3 hours. Soaring aromatics, medium bodied, velvet texture, the fruit built continuously in its power, the spirit a background accompaniment, never dominating. Poise. Marvellous. On the second night still showing very well, but best in one sitting I’d suggest. Not exactly a hardship.
