Sunday, May 23, 2021 - Wineapolooza in Atlanta; 5/21/2021-5/23/2021 (My house): Well, considering I pulled the wrong wine and had no clue we weren’t drinking the Chateau Lascombes as planned, we did pretty well here. This was a classic Bordeaux profile with a sneaky acid and tannin profile—they are there and build up. Some backbone to last awhile.
Dark cherries, tobacco, leather, cassis, and a hint of savory green tomatoes.
