Saturday, October 22, 2022 - This was our one and only bottle of this wine bought a couple of years ago from a private cellar which of course is not without risk. I have no point of comparison and have never had a champagne this old but we loved it. The cork came out in one with a slight ‘phst’, the wine had a nice golden colour and a fine mousse with lovely cooked apple and secondary flavours and the finish was very long.
