Thursday, December 24, 2020 - Slow oxed for 30 min. This bottle isn’t as good as the last one as it has a bit more funk. Black currant, leather and spice on the nose. The palate shows black fruits, smoked meats, and spice mixed with a bit funk. There is still a fair amount of tannin still showing through also. Overall this is still an impressive wine particularly for. Vintage but it might be on the decline now as the fruit component seems to be fading relative to the earth and funk.
