Saturday, February 19, 2022 - From bottle, opened 4 h in advance: colour of full saturated cherry red, hints of dark orange, intense nose of cherry/kirsch, rose hips, orange peel and ripe tomatoes, oregano and other herbs, fresh chanterelles and wet leaves, on the palate fleshy and chewy, very intense cherry-liquor sweetness covering the sweet and ripe tannins and the underlying sound acidity, it´s powerful and light at the same time, extremely elegant for such a young wine, great depth and a finish lasting almost a minute, great potential for another 2+ decades, maybe perfect around 2030, but such a joy to taste young. 97p
