Monday, August 2, 2010 - Seems to be in the dumb phase right now though after decating over an hour it started to open up. Started fairly deep purple and over a few hours started to go ruby at the edges. Extremely smooth, well integrated tannings and well balanced acidity. As it opened up some red fruit, minerality and earthiness on the nose. Touch of red fruit, mushroom and candied orange peel in the mouth ending with a decently long finish. Looking forward to popping another bottle of this in 12 months or so.
