Tuesday, October 23, 2012 - Dark ruby red. Dark cherries on the nose with some red fruit mixed in. Poured two glasses and let the bottle breathe during dinner. This showed some tart cherry on opening, but put on weight with air and showed off tremendous intensity. On the darker, richer, fruity side of Pinot Noir, but Is ultimately in balance. Tannins have softened, and this is in a great drinking window now. Long, fruity finish.

Enjoyed with almond crusted chicken and jasmine rice. For a maligned vintage, this is quite a good showing.
