Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - Popped btl, poured off half a glass and let the rest breath in the bottle for 4 hours. The initial half glass was a bit tight and out of sorts.

After 4 hours - on the nose a nice mix of fruit and earthiness with a bright stemmy note in the background. On the palate, a similar mix. Much more open that the initial glass. Good fruit and a bit of stems all balanced out by an acidity that has started to integrate nicely. A hint of tannin on the finish. Should last another few years.
