Sunday, February 7, 2021 - A very refined, complex and satisfying wine. Deep garnet. Powerful nose of cooked black cherry, licorice, chocolate, prunes, smoke, leather. Wine is developing. Palate: dry, medium plus acidity and tannins give this wine a pleasant mouthfeel and structure. High alcohol, full body, pronounced flavors of black currant, white pepper, smoke,tar and leather. Finish is long, complex and satisfying. Very good wine, can drink now but will probably improve even more in 3-5 years.
