Community Tasting Note

Monday, December 25, 2023 - In my last note in 2020 I suggested leaving it another 5-8 years. I only lasted 3 but this is drinking very well now - glad I didn't wait longer.

Appearance: bright, mid gold, slight straw tinge. Fine beading.

Nose: Intense and complex. Stone fruits, some restrained citrus and baked bread notes, cashews, a little spice and whiff of smoke.

Palate: rich mouthfeel. Marzipan, stonefruits, hint of honey and toast. Good acidity for its age. Well balanced. Lingering finish. Excellent.
