Wednesday, July 15, 2020 - Popped, and breathed from the bottle for ~2-hrs before pouring. Am surprised this still exhibited a tad of that "liquorice cherry" notes on the nose, which was quickly followed by scents of violets, and roses after some time in the glass. Red-fruited elegant/lifted palate (gaining weight as it fleshed out), with ash/earth plus a dope of minerality. Overall, an alluring drink with a not-so-long'ish finish (for now). Will be interesting to see how this develops with age...
