Likes this wine:

Tuesday, June 29, 2021 - Decanted for ~2-hrs. This seemed to have lost its youthful exuberance (the "liquorice cherry" note)... but definitely still a young/youthful wine. However, it's now more "classic Gevrey", w/ more pronounced notes of earth, rather than straight-out violets/roses which we tend to associate with young Duroches. That said, a beautiful wine of elegance & grace, medium-body, with red-fruited/cherry notes lifted by nicely balanced acidity/freshness. Interesting to see how this continues to develop with age...
