Thursday, December 28, 2023 - The 2003 Fombrauge is probably the best Fombrauge ever produced in my eyes. Opened for christmas eve pot luck as a pulse check on the other 3 or 4 remaining bottle and it wowed as usual. Cradling both sides of the world, drawing a line across from Napa to Bordeaux, right across the water. Very lush, yet extremely healthy and mature. Beautiful evolved color and shine, the finish was pretty drawn out and kept going and going. This is grand cru quality in a modest wine. Bring your oak sunglasses with you, you will need to have some love for old wood. DRINK!

    would last 20 years too!
