Monday, April 21, 2014 - Served at Easter dinner with hickory-grilled tri-tip. Ten-year-old Juvenile from magnum signed by Larry Turley. Still drinking very well. Typical Turley power only somewhat muted by time. Dark purple with no browning at the disk, leggy with a smokey blackberry nuance in the nose. Blackberries, herbs and brush on the palate with a blast of cherry in the finish. The wax-capped magnum was a hit at the table, and even our cosmo- and martini-preferring guests tipped back more than one glass of this gem.
