Thursday, April 30, 2015 - 3rd to the first place Tie between Trimbach and weimar in the dry group. Others really liked this as it was completely dry but fruit seemed to give it a touch of perceived RS. Plenty of great riesling fruit from the tropicals of asian pear, to the stone fruit of white peach, acacia florals and tangerine/mandarin orange acidity with that serious flinty and slate mineral backbone.

THE USA, especially the Finger Lakes and Northern CA bested wines from Australia, NZ, and this was just under Weimer Reserve and Trimbach.
7 wines were had in this flight of dry Riesling and they all were very good.
