Starting to show some age with the citrus notes combined with a bit of honey; still has strong acid and mineral notes. Complex though maybe not fully integrated at this point? Impressive nonetheless.

Petrol on the nose. The lively lemon and petrol is most noticable. Gripping acidity with a touch of salinity. The type of acidity that makes your mouth water letting you know that you definitely want more. Holding strong and should have plenty of life left.

Popped and poured. Sharp aroma of lemon and minerals. Tart lemon/lime flavor, slight sweetness in the lemon cream finish. Bracing, fresh, youthful, bold flavors, lively, some complexity,
Hard to believe this is over 9 years old. Going strong with no sign of decline.

This might be past the curve. Pleasant enough, and in balance on initial pour. As the evening wore on the acid in the finish grew more pronounced and the fruit receded into the background. Day 2 it flattened out and picked up a hint of foxy character. Nice enough on that first glass but all signs point to drink up now.

Not as acidic as the 2009 or as full bodied and ripe as the 2010. Not as interesting as either. My least favorite year from a 2009-2012 vertical tasting. Still good though.

Not as obviously perfumy nose as the simpler 2014 Dr. Frank that preceded it, but with time and slightly warmer temp turned into a great example of finger lakes Riesling.

A lime smell, a grapefruit taste, together with a dense and powerful stoniness. High acid. The wine certainly benefited from decanting but was still, I think, way too young.

3rd to the first place Tie between Trimbach and weimar in the dry group. Others really liked this as it was completely dry but fruit seemed to give it a touch of perceived RS. Plenty of great riesling fruit from the tropicals of asian pear, to the stone fruit of white peach, acacia florals and tangerine/mandarin orange acidity with that serious flinty and slate mineral backbone.
THE USA, especially the Finger Lakes and Northern CA bested wines from Australia, NZ, and this was just under Weimer Reserve and Trimbach. 7 wines were had in this flight of dry Riesling and they all were very good.
Nice color. The nose shows ripe aromas of citrus, Meyer lemon, orange blossom, peach and minerals. This is medium light bodied with very good concentration and real class. The fairly long finish features a strong mineral element.

Angular and focused acidity. Lemon and lime citris. Did I mention acidity? Wet stone and minerality in mid-palate. Hint of cream and perhaps butterscotch at the end that I tend to associate with Argetsinger. Very nice FL riesling.
Great. Super sleek and so pure and elegant. Crunchy fruit.. gonna buy some for the future.(day 1)
Day 2.. increasing complexity not super high in acidity like I guess some other vintages but bringing some more Austrian Riesling style than you might think. Pineapple, stone, a bitter almond finish.. more to come on day 3. Very long finish.. 45 seconds or more.

Bracing acidity, mineral and citrus with a rubber character I typically associate with Alsatian riesling. Very good. Shows the increasing quality in the finger lakes.

Super mineral and tangy, though the sugar is felt a bit towards finish.
