Thursday, August 3, 2023 - Age has been good to this wine. 90 minute decant, 58 F. Very aromatic nose, with raspberry, chocolate and a bit of funky earth. Lively, integrated acidity. Alcohol very well integrated at this point. Medium-bodied with silky tannins that gradually evolved to velvet with air. Slightly tart red fruits on the palate, balanced by notes of sweet and spicy oak notes. Lingering finish. The wine continued to evolve and improve with air, should still have some time left.
