Likes this wine:

Saturday, August 8, 2015 - A lot of light coming through the red color of this one. Anybody who thinks they can ID the grape type from the color of the wine would say, “Easy one. That’s a Pinot Noir.” Well, they’re wrong. A fairly delicate nose suggesting red fruit—plum, mostly. Certainly, not the most full-bodied wine but definitely not a big tannic beast, it does come at me with a good amount of tart red plum or red raspberry flavor. Anybody who holds DCV Zins at the top of their favorites might not care for this one, but for the $20 that I spent for this, it is a keeper.
