90 Points

Monday, September 20, 2010 - Subtle cedar spice, cassis, and earthy nose. Palate with integrated tannins, giving a smooth round mouthfeel, with good acidity to keep it from being flabby or jammy. Palate with cassis, and lively spice, pepper and floral elementals. Great explosive mid-palate. Finish is a little disappointing, with red fruits, mocha and some mild drying tannins. Surprisingly approachable and should improve over the short to medium term.
