Wednesday, November 20, 2019 - Bottle 3 of 3. Very consistent performance, this was a great QPR. Classic St Estephe profile, nice structure and minerality just under a more purple fruit core. Gave this a splash decant for about 90 min before pouring and that was just right. Nice balance in the glass. Fresh currant and a touch of granite in the nose, then a nice silky palate. Poured with a hangar steak dish. If these popped up on the market somewhere I'd be buyer as they still have several nice drinking years ahead.
