Wednesday, February 7, 2024 - 2010 Barolos at Terra Rossa with NLWTS (Terra Rossa, Upper Street): Ruby. Such a pronounced, vibrant red-fruited nose. Sweetly spiced. Tannins astonishingly well rounded as is the wine as a whole; difficult to grab hold of or isolate any particular element! Really a pretty unique experience for me. Deteriorated somewhat in the glass; the ‘gloss’ wore away and it tasted harsher and harsher. No idea why; I initially gave it a 95.
