Saturday, July 9, 2022 - Over the last year I have tasted a number of +/- 10-year-old Ridge Zins. Most have been disappointing due to their lack of vibrancy and fading fruit. This is, fortunately, an exception. Zinfandel screams out in both the nose and taste. That said, like so many other of the "modern-style" Ridge Zins, this is not a wine to be kept around for long. Enjoy now for its classic Ridge Zinfandel berry, American oak vanilla characteristics.
