Thursday, August 25, 2016 - Light translucent ruby in the glass, typical of the coloring you get with Nerello Mascalese-based wines. Nice spicy nose with red & black fruits.

Medium-bodied, decent persistence on the finish, ripe red & black fruit, and that note of spices that I got on the nose comes through on the palate as well. Very likable right now.
