Monday, July 24, 2017 - Bouquet dominated by sweet vanilla oak in the beginning. After a while and especially after a day this blew off significantly and exposed ripe stone fruits and exotic notes as well as some stony minerality. Very open, smooth and creamy on the palate with enough acidity to balance the apparent sweetness. Yet, also here a bit less oak would have been welcome. The finish on the other hand is long, well-balanced and shows the best of the fruit. Easy and enjoyable drinking, especially with food and considering the price (14 €) a very good value.
