Apricot, peach, honey, floral nose. Palate is ripe peaches (?) with honey. The herbal floral notes give an almost effervescent effect on the tongue. Still enough acidity to keep this alive and more or less balanced. Pleased with this one and good QPR.

Still holding up very well, with light oxidative notes that just add to the complexity. Tastes very much of Alsace rather than Chardonnay, with exotic fruit notes and minerality. Sadly, my last bottle. Would have been interesting to see how it developed even further.

Fascinating, unique wine. No (or almost no) residual sugar. An oaky punch counters the high acid and leaves this in balance and feeling big. Nose of petrol and lemon oil, more orange/tangerine on the palate. Some oxidization coming in but in a good way right now. Not going to be for everyone, but so much more interesting than what else you could get at this price point.

Bouquet dominated by sweet vanilla oak in the beginning. After a while and especially after a day this blew off significantly and exposed ripe stone fruits and exotic notes as well as some stony minerality. Very open, smooth and creamy on the palate with enough acidity to balance the apparent sweetness. Yet, also here a bit less oak would have been welcome. The finish on the other hand is long, well-balanced and shows the best of the fruit. Easy and enjoyable drinking, especially with food and considering the price (14 €) a very good value.
