Tuesday, August 27, 2013 - Pop/pour. This has seen better days. The fruit seems faded both in absolute terms and as compared to my note from several years ago. A sense of high alcohol dominates, with a slightly bitter finish. This one stored in an ambient cellar between 65 -70 degrees, so perhaps other bottles more carefully stored might fair better, but the synthetic cork suggests to me that this wasn't intended to be aged this long. This had been a "missing and presumed lost" bottle in my cellar.
