Friday, September 4, 2015 - Big, bold, concentrated Columbia Valley blend that is Cabernet Sauvignon-based. Strength of nose continues on the palate. Acid and tannins are harsh at first, but settle a bit with air. Ripe cherry and earth notes are prominent. The sheer power throws off the balance, but the acid and dusty note are welcomed. Nice cranberry-cherry stem finish. This could use some harmony, but nice effort at this QPR.
