Sunday, November 30, 2014 - The 2010 Rocca di Frassinello is a lovely blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Sangiovese. It boasts a deep, thick ruby core and is packed with vibrant aromas of raspberry, blueberry and creme caramel. It is a powerful, full bodied wine, yet soft and silky on the palate as it reveals harmonious layers of creme de cassis, fresh garden flowers and digestive cookies. It lingers on for forty five seconds with a sweet and unctuous finish. A great effort to be enjoyed over the next decade.
